
Our dress code reinforces the discipline of dance and allows our teachers to make accurate corrections while instructing. We want our students to feel comfortable in their attire and have a positive body image, therefore, if you have any concerns regarding our dress code please do not hesitate to contact us.
Pre-Ballet / Creative Movement
Leotard, tights, pink ballet shoes with elastics. Hair pulled back neatly.
Ballet and Ballet Combo Classes (Grades 5 and younger)
Solid color leotard, tights, pink ballet shoes with elastics. Ballet skirt optional. Hair pulled back neatly.
Ballet (Grades 6-12)
Black leotard, tights, pink ballet shoes with elastics. Ballet skirt optional. Hair pulled back in a neat bun. Pointe shoes for pre-pointe.
Tap
Black tap shoes. Choose from: Solid color leotard, tights or socks, black jazz pants or capris (cotton or spandex), solid color shirt (no logos). Hair pulled back neatly.
Jazz
Black jazz shoes. Choose from: Solid color leotard, tights or socks, black jazz pants or capris (cotton or spandex), solid color shirt (no logos). Hair pulled back neatly.
Jazz / Hip-Hop and Hip-Hop
Black jazz shoes or black hip-hop sneakers. Jazz attire or loose athletic wear (Hip-Hop only).
No sweatshirts, excessive/oversized jewelry, or oversized clothing.
Modern / Lyrical
Black leotard, footless tights (any color) or black jazz pants, dance shorts, or capris (cotton or spandex)
Boys
Solid color t-shirt, black jazz pants and black ballet slippers/black jazz shoes/black tap shoes.
Black jazz shoes or pink ballet slippers, black jazz pants or capris (cotton or spandex), solid color leotard OR solid color shirt (no logos/designs unless PAC clothing). Hair pulled back. Leotard with tights also OK. All black w/bright top required for showcases. Hip-Hop sneakers are allowed but not recommended for grades 5 and under.
Hair must be pulled away from the face. Proper footwear is required. Please wear comfortable clothing suitable for movement. Not Permitted: Street shoes, jeans, flip-flops, excessive jewelry, dangly earrings, bare feet.
Please adhere to your class dress code for proper attire.
You will be notified via email and hand out as to what to wear for performance-based workshops.
We recommend "Dare 2 Dance" for all of your dance wear!
